GF Costco Finds part 4

Subscribe: Lifestyle Newsletter

WOW!  It's been almost a year since I shared any Costco finds.  So let's recap what this blog post is all about.

I will be sharing some products I grab at Costco which are gluten free.  Now I am not by anyway being reimbursed or sponsored to share these.  Having to go gluten free (GF) is no easy task plus it can be very expensive because you just don't know what you are getting when you buy a GF product.  I've wasted a lot of money trying products and then also found some great products from recommendations.

Disclaimer I have not tested positive for Celiacs so if you have please take what I'm sharing with a grain of salt.  However I have noticed I'm better off when I eat products which have been certified gluten free.  Beware because many products like to use the word gluten free yet their manufacturing facility may not be gluten free.  I've also heard that gluten can stay airborne for like 24-48 hours I believe, don't quote me as I haven't found good evidence on that yet.

This chart was eye opening for me when I switched.

I labeled this part 4 as you know Costco changes and so this is what I have on hand currently to share with you.

Here's part 1part 2, and part 3.

Let's dive into the latest round.

Perhaps starting off with my worst choice, lol!  I might have finally learned I do not like items with cassava.  Are these edible yes!  Do I like them, not really but I'll try to get thru the box.

TIP: do not put in the freezer.  I thought it might improve them, lol.  It made them rock solid.

I've been a fan of pistachios for some time.  As with most nuts & seeds they're packed full of vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients.  I love spicy foods & snacks, these I would put on the more mild side of spicy which is nice as they aren't burning your mouth.  Plus there's no shells so they make for easy snacking!

You've probably seen electrolyte drinks everywhere it's the new age Gatorade for us of the 1900s :)   I use these while traveling or on hot summer days when I'm outside for extended periods of time.  Definitely not any everyday thing.  I've tried a number of flavors as I've swapped flavors with friends.  Most are fairly salty tasting so I find I almost have to chug them to get them in.  However this flavor is a little more palatable.  It's been a long time since I had a true bomb pop yet these definitely bring back those memories of summers as a kid enjoying the infamous popsicle.

One of the struggles with trying to avoid gluten is traveling.  So I like to pack snacks even when flying.  Yes you can take snacks thru security especially if they are not liquid or a paste (tip:  peanut butter is a NO NO).  Getting in protein while traveling helps to keep you feeling full.  I've tried so many beef/meat sticks over the years and for one not all are gluten free then on top of that there's needing one with a texture you can stomach and I certainly don't want any of those nasty after tastes, lol.  This one checks the boxes!  Plus it's one of the few brands I've tried that has a very simple & clean ingredient list!!!  Honestly impressive!

Sticking with the summer theme, it's the meals on the go!  Whether it's a charcuterie board, a Snackle Box, or just meat, cheese, & crackers.  I've used this salame before and it's tasty!

This one is an obvious one but yes it's gluten free.  I share because
for some women soy can provide relief during the menopause transition (aka perimenopause years).

This isn’t quite as good as Blue’s but it’ll do.  Use this recipe for the flavor. Instead of boiling, cook on blackstone 2-3 minutes per side.  Side note, I put them in the freezer so it just takes putting them in a bowl of warm water for about 5 minutes prior to tossing on the blackstone.
