Spring Cleaning Challenge

I can’t be the only one whose fuse gets just a teeny bit shorter when the house is feeling disorganized and cluttered, right?

Spring feels like the perfect time to me to declutter and give your home a fresh start. But let's be real, decluttering can be a daunting task.

That's why I've put together a fun and easy 4-week decluttering challenge to help you tackle the clutter and make your home feel brand new!

Whaddya say? Do it with me?

Here’s how it’s going to go:

Spring Cleaning Schedule

Week 1: Closet Cleanout

Start by going through your closet and getting rid of any items that you haven't worn in the past year. Set aside some time to try on clothes and make sure everything fits and looks good. And don't forget to have some fun with it! Blast your favorite tunes and make a mini fashion show out of it.

Pro Tip:  have a donate box handy!

Week 2: Kitchen Cleanup

Next up, it's time to tackle your kitchen. Start by going through your pantry and getting rid of any expired items or foods you know you won't eat. Then move on to your fridge and freezer. Check expiration dates and get rid of any old or freezer-burnt items. And hey, why not have a little fun by hosting a cooking party with friends to use up any ingredients that are about to expire?

Pro Tip: do not donate expired food, they can not use it either!

Week 3: Bathroom Blitz

Now it's time to get your bathroom in order. Go through your beauty products and toss any that are expired or that you haven't used in a while. Also, if you haven't recently clean your makeup brushes, more on that below.  And while you're at it, give your bathroom a little makeover with some new towels, bath mats, or cute storage containers. Why not make a day of it by inviting your friends over for a DIY spa day?

Pro tip:  mascara no matter the brand should be replaced every 3 months!

Week 4: Home Makeover

For the final week, focus on decluttering and refreshing your home. Go through each room and get rid of any items that are taking up space and not adding value to your life. Then, add some fresh flowers, new throw pillows, or a new piece of artwork to give your home a little facelift. And don't forget to invite your friends over for a spring cleaning party to help you out and celebrate your new, clutter-free home!  Then go do the same with them!

Ready, Set, go compile a favorite playlist, grab some snacks, and get started!

I’m kind of excited to get my house in order for spring, how about you?
