Beach Toy Round-Up

What happens on spring break, stays on spring break, right? 

Ok, fine, maybe spring break has changed a lot since those days! Spring break these days is more sunscreen, wide-brimmed hats, a cooler full of water bottles, and a good beach read! If you’ve got a spring break beach trip coming up, I rounded up the best new beach toys so you can enjoy that book you’ve been dying to read and soak up some rays while your kids stay entertained and happy! 

1. Catch and Release Beach Aquarium- With this aquarium, toddlers to teens can explore the creatures of the sea up close. Submerge it in water and then study the sea creature from all sides and angles! Once the study is over, they can be gently released back into their habitat. 

2. Sand Castle Building Kit - Even older kids get competitive when it comes to sandcastle building! These molds are sturdy and make for some really impressive builds! 

3. Spike Ball - Spike Ball is a family favorite for a reason. This is one game your family will make a spring break tradition. 

4. Bocce Ball - Looking for something a little more mellow than Spike Ball but still really fun and competitive? Beach sand makes a perfect playing space for Bocce. Even little kids will get into this one. 

5. Sand Shovels - You can’t skip this classic toy…but not all shovels are created equal. The flimsy little ones you pick up at the convenience store closest to the beach never hold up. These large, sturdy shovels will last for several seasons. 

6. Water-proof cards - Playing cards at the beach is a favorite past time but sand and water don’t exactly mix with a good old game of Go Fish. Water-proof cards make playing at the beach a breeze. 

7. Jumbo Checker Game - We love to play checkers at the beach and this rug makes it easy to shake the sand right off.
