🙋 Who has done a juice cleanse thinking it would be a detox?
I have!
However it turns out it does very little for detoxification.
When fruit is turned into juice it loses the fiber.
Fiber is the most detoxifying substance we can consume.
Fiber literally scrubs our insides, so we can't detox without it.
Next time a friend tries to convivence you to drink something to detox you....take a closer look!
We're better off eating fruits & veggies!!

Many of the health issues we are facing can be linked to what we are eating, or in most cases what we are not eating. Americans are literally full of sh!t, yes because they are deficient in fiber which is needed to cleanse the system.
In addition, foods high in fiber also contain some very important nutrients which are super beneficial to our health.
Are you getting enough fiber?
Women should try to eat at least 21 to 25 grams of fiber a day, while men should aim for 30 to 38 grams a day.
So how can you get that daily fiber in?
It's your fruits, veggies, nuts, and oats plus a few other whole foods. And most people are more likely to eat fruits before the veggies, right?
Try this smoothie and let me know what you think.
How to:
1c strawberries (3g)
1c raspberries (9g)
1 pear (5g)
Apple Juice
Optional:
Handful of Almonds (4g)
17-21 grams of fiber
Mix it all together
Note: adding the almonds will give a grittier texture. This can be spotted in this short clip.
