Healthy Snack Hacks


Snack like a kid with these healthy options.


Funfetti Energy balls

1 ¼ cups old fashioned oats

¼ cup peanut butter

cup honey

2 Tbsp chia seeds

1 tsp vanilla

Pinch of sea salt 

¼ c mini chocolate chips

¼ sprinkles

*Place all ingredients except chocolate chips and sprinkles into a food processor. Pulse till thoroughly mixed. Stir in chips and sprinkles. Use a cookie scoop to scoop into 1-inch balls. Store in fridge. 




Fruit Popsicles 

1 cup of chopped fruit of your choice (mangoes, fruit. banana, berries, pineapples) 

¾ cup of coconut water

2 Tbsp lime juice

T Tbsp honey

Puree in a blender and then pour into a silicone popsicle mold like this. Freeze for 8 hours.

  • The key to ensuring you get healthy snacks in over the summer (and preserving your sanity) is having grab-n-go snacks available. 
    • The biggest difference in choosing healthy snacks over unhealthy snacks is having them ready. 
  • Spend 20 minutes preparing for the week ahead. 
    • Ensure you eat healthier snacks and save yourself time during the week too.
  • Make snacks accessible
    • Place a bin in the pantry for dry snacks and a bin in the fridge for cold snacks. 
    • Portion out snacks into baggies or containers
    • Place snack bins in the pantry and fridge at eye level. 
      • People always grab what is easiest and most accessible so make it front and center and easy to grab.
  • Ideas for pantry snacks
    • Granola bars, dried fruit, trail mix, apple sauce, popcorn, cheerios, nuts, 
  • Ideas for fridge snacks
      • Fresh fruits & veggies, meat & cheese,  green tea, real cranberry juice, yogurt, energy balls
