The Bug A Boo Insect Repellent is a definite favorite of mine.  Even though I don't have to use it year round due to where I live, it has been a life saver.  I had tried all the things included other essential oils yet I would get eaten alive.  And I'm sensitive to bites so whenever I would get bitten I'd swell up.  Lucky me I usually wouldn't receive just one bite it would be multiple bites.  Since trying it for the first time about 3 years ago, I've only had a couple bites which occurred when I wasn't wearing it.

I loved the spray until I used the balm stick.  I feel the balm lasts a little bit longer.  Plus why not add a little extra hydration to the skin, we all need that.  Now I do still keep the spray on hand as it's been a blessing for our dog.  Yes!  She's large enough we spray her before going outside because we live where there are lots of ticks.  It has drastically reduced the amount of ticks she attracts.  Oh I should mention, we tried traditional tick products on her but she's sensitive and they were doing more harm to her than good.

Essential oils have been shown to be highly effective in deterring bugs.  In fact, this article covers one of the oils included in our Bug A Boo, lemon eucalyptus is just as effective as DEET.

Plus our formula includes Catnip essential oil too!  And I'll answer it right away, it does not attract cats.  lol  Yes, I get that question a lot.  We have outside cats & I have planted catnip before as well.  The cats prefer the plants!

Pro Tip:  Apply a non-mineral oil lotion or creme right before applying Bug A Boo which gives it something to adhere to and last a smidge longer.  Then reapply every few hours or as needed.

Not your typical sugar scrub!  The whole family will fall in love with this so you might just want to grab two or three!

Check out all these uses.

Multipurpose Products

The Healing Elements Balm & Prebiotic Facial Mist are two great products to have on hand all year long because of all the uses they provide.

During the Spring & Summer months they are mostly grabbed to soothe sunburn.  However as you can see by the below graphics they have many other uses.

This is another magical balm we offer.  During the summer months you will find it great to relieve sore muscles from all those outside activities.  Or maybe you are like me and you need it year long to soothe tension headaches.  I rub it on my neck & shoulders for almost instant relief.  I've also found it's fantastic for bruises and even if you stub your toe, put some on!

Additional Summer Items

A couple products not mentioned in the video but also very handy to have.

Tinted Moisturizer or Liquid Foundation

Enjoy a natural sunblock similar to an SPF of 15 - 20.  Both are very lightweight & breathable.
I shared more on these in this blog post along with some other natural sun protection options.

*Liquid Foundation (nothing like the 90s liquid foundation)

*mineral foundation (buildable coverage & great staying power)

Family friend shared they drank this last year to ward off ticks & mosquitoes. I'm going to try it out this year....if nothing else get the benefits from the tea 🤓

Another great reason to ditch the junk filled soaps!!  Click to read the article.
Two options to try as they include essential oils which can deter bugs; Lavender Mint or Spearmint Eucalyptus.
