Tik Tok 4 Quarters Productivity Hack

If you're anything like me, motivation for the day is easily lost as soon as something doesn’t go according to plan.

Kinda like when you indulge a little too much at breakfast and then tell yourself you ruined your diet and now the whole day is shot so hey, you might as well eat cake!  Ok maybe that's a bit extreme, lol.

Well, the latest viral hack to come out of Tik Tok a friend shared has reminded me to see my day so much differently and totally changed my whole mindset.

Here’s how it works!

Known as the "four quarters" method, the technique involves splitting your day into four sections:

                    morning (5am - 9am)

                    late morning (10am - 1pm)

                    afternoon (2pm - 7pm)

                    evening (7pm - onward)

It's almost like looking at your day as four short sprints as opposed to one long marathon.

The thought behind this is that by compartmentalizing your time, you can not only get the most out of it productivity wise but also shift your entire mindset so you don’t let the setbacks have a domino effect on the rest of your day!

Whether you woke up late and missed your workout, you were feeling frustrated and snapped at your partner, or you just weren’t feeling very motivated after lunch so you put off the project you’ve been meaning to finish, when you break up your time, you can mentally step forward into a new quarter, leaving all the negative elements from the last one behind — just like treating each new quarter like a brand new day!

Your results aren’t based on what you did last, but on what you’re going to do next!

What do you think?

Is that something you feel can help you?
