Looking towards growing income, investments, or retirement it's still a good time to do those even with all the talk about inflation.  We have to look no further than Nebraska's very own, Warren Buffett.

Many look past Direct Sales as a viable investment or business, however it can't be all bad if Berkshire Hathaway is invested in Pampered Chef, right?

With very low start up costs and many not requiring inventory to be held it's a wonderful avenue for those who want to get there foot in the door to see how to run a business or perhaps just earn some extra income during inflation.  Direct sales has been around for over 100 years, just think of all the economic ups and downs have occurred in that time.

I shared some more insights on if direct sales might be a good fit for you in this previous blog post.  My biggest piece of advice if you are wanting to earn that income, go with a consumable product.  This allows for re-orders which help to grow your residual income.  Also, if you use the products yourself especially on a daily basis it will be that much easier to talk about the products.

Whether you are looking at Lemongrass Spa or another company, if you have questions I am happy to chat with you.  As with any industry there are bad apples and bad practices but that does not mean all are, I've seen worse behavior in highly regulated industries of banking and insurance in my career.

Ladies, take control of your finances!  Ignore anyone who tells you otherwise!

We are the decision makers whether others want to accept it or not.  Along with that means your pocketbook has a lot of power.  Be aware and spend money wisely.  And of course, invest even smarter!
