If you think girls suck you’re hanging out with the wrong ones.
Here’s the thing, I’ve been here many times over the years. I’d prefer to hang out with ‘the boys’.
Being criticized for how you do your hair or makeup... in my case how I didn’t do it. Seriously I don’t have time for that {laughing}.
Being criticized for speaking up. There’s plenty of ssshh’s out there. Well when you feel a certain way we shouldn’t feel ashamed to share. Of course be kind! But we can still speak our mind.
Being told ‘this is how you should...’. Well who really has that right to tell us. Let’s make our own decisions.
When you know your passion.
When you’re acknowledged.
When you’re encouraged.
Your confidence is boosted!
It’s a lot easier to shut down the naysayers.
And when you’re surrounded by like minded individuals who feel the same way, you can become who you’ve dreamed of & most likely even a bit better than you had imagined.
Hurt people, hurt people
Accept the belief that you deserve the best. Then do the steps to get where you need to go. Those who don’t understand are struggling with themselves. There is no need to try to change them or make them understand. It’s your journey! Some may need to be left at a rest stop until you decide if they deserve to be picked back up on your journey. Others left in the ‘cemetery of life’. They have taught you what was needed & no longer serve a purpose in your journey. I know you’re thinking this is harsh however just in life when someone passes away & we feel it was to early, it just means they had served their purpose in our life.
Back to where we started, if you think girls suck you’re hanging out with the wrong ones.
It takes some a lot longer than others to find their tribe, clan, family, or whatever you’d like to call it. Many will be able to tell you, when you find it...you’ll know! It’ll be surreal, time will fly, you’ll laugh like you’ve never laughed, cry and not always know why, and start enjoying girlfriends like you only thought existed on TV & the movies.
They will be the friends who cheer you on, give support, and want only the best for you. It doesn’t matter if you see them every day or every 6 months the bond is strong enough.
If you’re still here reading & you’re still questioning this, no worries you’ll find yours when it’s meant to be. As in anything we do in life keep believing & be on the lookout!
