3 tbsp sugar

Let sit til foamy

1/4 cup melted butter

1 egg

3.5 cups flour

1.5 tsp salt

Directions:

Knead 4 minutes or until dough ball forms.

Shape dough into 6 or 12 rolls.

Cover, let rise 15 minutes.

Bake 10ish minutes at 400f or until tops are golden brown.

Brush tops with butter and let cool.

Holiday Butter

Ingredients:

• 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
• 3 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 tbsp honey

Instructions:

1. Combine softened butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and honey in a mixing bowl.

2. Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, whip on medium speed for 2–3 minutes.

3. Scrape down the bowl, then whip on high for 4–6 minutes until pale, light, and fluffy.

4. Serve immediately, or store in an airtight container. If placed in fridge, bring to room temperature before spreading.

NOTES:

If your home is cold it may take longer than 15 minutes to rise.  Also, I did experiment with rising about an hour and they still turned out.

The 6 Roll Recipe can be cut into 9 rolls too.  All dependent on what size of rolls you would like.  Image below is same 6 Roll Recipe just using a Turkey Red Wheat.

It’s obvious I need practice on size and shape, lol. However I used the 12 count recipe to attempt hot dog buns. They look more like brat buns and hoagies however they totally work!

Try it!
