Seven Years in Seven Highlights

A walk down memory lane is stirring up a range of emotions. Then at the same time I can't believe it will been 7 years next week!

I was a complete skeptic yet at my wits end as I needed something to give me relief and I wanted one stop shopping instead of ordering from 5+ different places or driving all over the countryside.

It's wild looking back at where this Lemongrass Spa journey has taken me. And honestly it was really hard to just pick 7 photos, lol. So much has happened in 7 short years!

So why not, I'll share 7 highlights as well ⤵️

1: Everyone is so fast to laugh at this. However, synthetic fragrance is slowly killing us. I remember in high school when I would get a headache when the VS lotion was applied & I could smell it from across the cafeteria which then lead to an all day headache. Living most the following years only using unscented products. I finally learned that it was hiding inside; synthetic fragrance which was causing so many problems for me.

2: Recognition for a job well done! As an Introvert I don't want to be the center of attention however being acknowledged for hard work is still appreciated. Within as little as 6 months, I had been recognized more than I had in my 15 years in Corporate America. It's just grown over the years: plaques, jewelry, bonuses, and more!

3: Actually learning how to take care of my skin. I was one of those using the worst thing on my face, apricot scrub. iykyk I was correct in that I needed to exfoliate regularly, it was just not the product any person should be using! And I fell in love with Microdermabrasion creme and it goes everywhere with me now.

4: Strangers that became friends I didn't know I needed. Again, as an Introvert it's not the easiest to make friends add on top of that I'd been slaving away in an office setting where backstabbing was very common. Expanding my circle opened my eyes that there are healthy communities of women encouraging each other. Have only been kidnapped by a few extroverts

5: relief from years of dry skin. Cracked, bleeding hands to awfully chapped lips. Here's what I used in the beginning and still do to this day. Plus a few other necessities covering head to toe!

6: Education: a community of gluten free people helped me thru learning all the things when I found out I needed to kick it to the curb. An incredible resource of knowledge regarding how environmental toxins impact our health yet with small swaps we can greatly improve our well-being. It really is a never ending journey of learning which this nerd enjoys!

7: In the beginning, it gave me fun money to support the drive-thru caffeine pick me up. Then I discovered I could earn extra to fill my desire to travel plus earn a yearly paid for vacation which didn't disappoint. To later on providing the flexibility for when life throws you curveballs. Recent polls show women would just like that extra $200 to $300 each month. Plus if you're passionate about traveling, meet me in Play del Carmen in May!
