Dutch Fishtail Braid

Will this be your next hair obsession hairstyle for the hot summer months!

Just worked out?  Fishtail braid.
Just jumped out of the pool?  Fishtail braid.
Spending the day sweating at the park?   Fishtail braid!

Step 1: First, create a side part. Then make a Dutch braid from your temple to the nape of your neck, dividing your hair into three sections. To dutch braid, mimic the steps of a French braid, but tuck each strand of hair underneath instead of on top. As you braid, pull the hair around to the opposite side.

Step 2: Once all the hair is over to one side, start to transition the dutch braid into a fishtail by dividing your remaining loose hair into two sections.

Step 3: With these two sections separated, take a small piece of hair from the outside of the left section. Place the piece of hair over the braid and combine with the right side. Repeat the process on the other side by taking a small section from the outside of the right section and combining it with the left.

Step 4: Continue doing this with the rest of your hair. Finish off the braid with a clear elastic at the ends.

Step 5: For an effortless, more textured look, gently loosen the Dutch braid by slowly pulling the edges apart.
